- John Rathband Review added: 2017.12.28★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I'd booked Eugene in to replace our Boiler and 7 radiators, he'd agreed a date for the work to be done. He was supposed to turn up on the Monday to measure and order the radiators but didn't show up. Having chased him he agreed he's come around on the Wednesday and would still be able to do the work. He didn't show up on Wednesday either, or Thursday or Friday or the following week. Over this time I called both his mobile and land line, I sent him text messages and emails. The only response I got was a voicemail saying he'd come round on the Wednesday afternoon. Finally I called him with a withheld number on the Monday to find out what's happening. Surprise surprise he answered but then hung up on me when he found out who is was and turned his phone off!!
I really don't mind if people are too busy, don't want to do the work or if something has happened but to just not turn up, not return phone calls or emails and then hang up on me is just rude and inconsiderate. I'd arranged to work from home to accommodate them and now I have to arrange for someone else to do it.
Looking back, I had to chase Eugene at every stage for a quote etc. Avoid this guy if you can - he will mess you around, he clearly doesn't care about his customers and has no desire to provide a quality service!
