Although the board said wait to be seated it was clear that would be a long wait as there was only one visible member of staff.
We sat down then placed our order at the bar. The coffee machine wasn't working so was offered a filter coffee. This was weak and flavour less and I didn't finish it. At £2.45 I felt it was over priced. Soup was brought. It was "fizzy" tasting of vinegar like soup that is past its best and luke warm. This was returned and replacement starter ordered. Starters and main courses were adequate at best. The PH is in a prime location and has plenty of seating outside. Sadly service and quality of food was a let down on a relatively quiet mI'd week lunchtime. I'm not sure how they manage when busy.
